The Sanford Sting Pop Warner Association is a youth football and cheerleading organization
affiliated with the National Pop Warner Little Scholars program. We
encourage physical fitness, sportsmanship and academics, while teaching
the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. Providing a team
oriented, recreational outlet for boys and girls from 5-15 years of age.

The National Pop Warner Association has recognized the following participants as National Scholars: Anna Barbee, Quinn Setzer, David Adkinson, Matthew Phillips and Autumn Williams. Way to go ladies and gentlemen.
The Sanford Sting would like to congradulate the following participants who were recognized in Charlotte on Sunday, April 6, 2008 as Mid South Region 2007 Scholar Award Winners: Quinn Setzer, David Atkinson, Matthew Phillips, Tre Quan Reed, Cody Proctor, Corey Proctor, Anna Barbee, Holly Yates and Autumn Williams.
2008 Signup dates have been announced. Mark your calendars for May 17, June 21 and July 10. Registration will be held at CCCC gym located at 1105 Kelly Drive in Sanford from 9am-12pm. The cost of registration is $15 for flag football and $75 for tackle football and cheerleading. See the 2008 LCPWA Welcome Letter for more information.
How many of you would love to have an Official Sanford Sting football helmet? We are in the process of ordering some new equipment and to help offset the cost, we are selling our old helmets for $20 as a fundraiser.
